Raenest Exchange: Where ideas and money move the world.

Growth doesn’t happen in isolation. Ideas gain clarity when shared. Knowledge becomes more valuable when passed on and money creates more impact when it moves.

All of this is what Raenest Exchange is here to accelerate.

What is Raenest Exchange

On October 9th, 2025, we’re bringing together some of the continent’s most forward-thinking professionals for a full-day event in Lagos, Nigeria. The builders. The freelancers. The founders. The digital entrepreneurs. The investors. A room full of people exchanging value through thought, experience, and opportunity.

Everyone comes with something to offer and something to learn. From scaling your business and getting tips to build your freelancing career to the future cross-border payment and African Fintech, Raenest Exchange creates space for honest insight and meaningful connections.

If you attended Geegs and Groove, you already know how we show up and show out. This year, with Raenest Exchange, we are doubling that energy.

What To Expect At Raenest Exchange 2025

This is the very first Raenest Exchange, and we’re pulling out all the stops.

Expect to hear from some of the top voices at Upwork, the platform powering millions of freelance careers worldwide. There will be game-changing conversations from leaders ike Kelly Monahan, who is the Managing Director of the Upwork Research Institute; Courtney Allen, who has earned more than $2 million on Upwork; and expert-vetted Upwork freelancer, Taylor Green, who has earned over $1.2 million, amongst others. They’ll be joined by more voices across industries, with sessions like Beyond the Gig: Building a Long-Term Freelance Career which is designed to spark ideas and offer practical takeaways.

In addition to freelancing, we’ll also hear Insights from the sharpest minds on Business and Investment, like Lexi Novitske, General Partner at Norrsken22, and Gbenga Ajayi, Partner at QED Investors, who bring years of experience building and funding fintech products across Africa, Europe, and the U.S.. We’ll also be having “What Investors Want: Cracking the Code on Funding in Africa”, a session dedicated to unpacking the realities of raising capital, from pitch readiness to market positioning.

When the lights eventually go low, the music comes up. The after-party will be full of good energy, great food, flowing drinks, and the kind of people you want to meet. Be sure to wear danceable shoes as the music promises to be second to none.

And for the juicy part (not food, though there would be a lot of it), we’ve something special in store for you. An announcement we’ve been itching to share all year. One we’ve been shaping carefully in the background. Something new that speaks to the future of work, money, and global financial solutions for Africans. It will be revealed live at Raenest Exchange.

More than the conversations, Raenest Exchange is about the people. The ones building from Africa for the world. The ones creating systems, brands, and platforms that carry more than just profit. The ones who have built full-blown businesses from what used to be “just freelancing.” The ones who have built and are building businesses and brands that would put Africa on the global map. The ones who know that the only thing holding them back now is the old way, and they are not going back. Raenest Exchange is for You!

We are excited to have you and can’t wait to see you at Raenest Exchange. Click here to RSVP.
